DHS Friends of the Arts Membership

Thanks to the generous support of our members, Friends of the Arts enriches DHS Arts’ programs by:
  • Raising funds through this annual membership drive as well as throughout the year
  • Distributing funds to DHS fine arts groups to meet special financial needs of students
  • Providing funds to bring in outside programming/instruction
  • Purchasing additional equipment and supplies not in the school budget, and more!!

The Fine Arts Department at DHS enriches the lives of many students and their families.  In any given school year, approximately 700 families have at least one student enrolled in one or more of the Fine Arts classes.  The school presents over 25 shows and exhibitions which not only enhance classroom experiences, but also offer numerous extra-curricular opportunities for our students, as well as provided entertainment to our community. 

Become a member of Friends of the Arts at any of the following levels and you will receive a DHS Fine Arts calendar and a small gift. Your membership will be acknowledged in printed programs (updated monthly) distributed at fine arts events.  In addition, be sure to opt-in to our monthly newsletters to keep up-to-date on events happening at the high school.

Friends of the Arts is a 501(c)(3) organization. If your company has a matching gifts program, you can both take advantage of the donation!
